Llyn Ogwen and Foel Goch. Ogwen is a favourite haunt of mine for painting and must count as one of the most beautiful valleys anywhere. I enjoyed trying to capture the rays of the winter sun just catching the top of the mountain. Giclee print 28cm x 40cm
Full size print - in a 20" x 16" (40.7 x 50.8 cm) conservation grade mount ready to frame.
£52.50 including UK carriage.
Traeth Lafan was a regular spot for us to take the dog for an evening walk as the huge stretches of wet sand reflect the sunset colours so well.I am particularly taken by the softer winter colours, the pinks and the mauves, although the spring and summer flaming orange sunsets are amazing! Giclee print 40 x 28cm
Forgotten cottage. I was doing the studies for a commissioned piece above Bethesda and kept walking past this little forgotten cottage. I used a fair old bit of artistic licence in this picture as the original is almost invisible under all the bracken stem and brambles . But what a beauty and what stories could it tell us, I wonder, about all the lives lived there if only it could talk…………Giclee print 39 x 27 cm
Winter Twilight, Deganwy A beautiful, still twilight after one of those crisp, “blue sky” days of January. Magic. Giclee print 40 x 28 cm
Llyn Padarn No matter how gloomy the day there is always something exciting happening in the skies over the mountains – and in the water! Prints of this scene have been awarded as prizes for the Snowdonia Marathon. Giclee print 28cm x 40cm
Tryfan in the beautiful Ogwen valley is the favourite mountain of many climbers, walkers and visitors to North Wales. I was also fascinated by the white cottage in the foreground nestled cosily amongst the rocks ! Giclee print 28cm x 40cm
Stormy Skies over LLyn Gwynant. The light changes so quickly over the mountains with the clouds scudding across - views like this can often be quite fleeting. I enjoy painting the effects of light in the landscape, such as this scene, and it gives me a sense of the enormity and power of the landscape. Giclee print 28cm x 40cm
Dinas Dinlle What a beautiful beach overlooked by Yr Eifl –The Rivals - the peaks on the North of the LLeyn Peninsula. The wet sand not only makes for lovely reflections of the sky but also great sandcastles ! Giclee print 28cm x 40cm
Snowdon What an amazing view to tell you you’re home again, after coming along the A5 from the hurly burly of the motorway network. This scene of the ‘Snowdon horseshoe’ is done from below Dyffryn Mymbyr (the "I bought a mountain" farm) Giclee print 28cm x 40cm
