A partnership started in 1977 by husband and wife team Frank Booth and Tina Holley, Booth & Holley (aka. Booth & Holley Crafts, Booth & Holley - woodturners) ran until 1998.

Beginning in Ebbw Vale in the South Wales valleys, Booth & Holley relocated to Abergavenny, occupying the former workshops of a dental technician. This entailed the periodic discovery of casting wax and false teeth in various corners of the workshop!

Whilst there Tina and Frank established the Craft Markets in the market hall in Abergavenny, starting as a one-off event in 1978 and becoming a long lived monthly market from 1979. they still take place on the secong Satuday of every month

The next move, in 1980, was to relocate to North Wales, to the small farm, Cae Ddafydd, near Beddgelert in Yr Wyddfa,Snowdonia National Park.

The wood turnery grew at Cae Ddafydd and developed a popular range of turned wooden giftware. Customers and stockists included, as well as numerous craft shops, the National Trust, Habitat, Boots, Debenhams, several museums, Once a Tree, Past Times and the Woodland Trust (see below).

At the same time as operating the wood turning business,Tina and Frank established Cae Ddafydd Rare Breed Farm, and were involved in establishing a Rare Breed Survival Trust support group covering North Wales, and running Rare Breed events at Anglesy Show and Penrhyn Castle.

Following the Great Storm of 1987 in South East England, Booth & Holley were pleased to be involved in a significant project with the Woodland Trust.

The immense loss of trees to the storm affected many of the Trust's woodlands. To help raise funds for repair and replanting the Trust commissioned Booth & Holley to design and produce a range of merchandise to be made from windblown timber.

Trees were milled in Kent and transported to North Wales to be dried in our low impact dehimidifier kilnand used to produce a catalogue for Trust members.
